SUPERGREENS Basil Pesto (Raw, Vegan, Nut/Soy/Gluten-Free, Protein and Iron rich!)

This recipe calls for the following products in the Elevated Pantry:

 

INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

  • 2 heaping cups of fresh basil (or any mix of the follow greens: basil, spinach, callaloo, parsley, kale, cilantro)
  • 1/2 cup of hempseeds
  • 1-2 heaping tablespoons of JUST Organic Stinging Nettle (dried)
  • sea salt and cracked black pepper to taste
  • juice of a full lemon 
  • 1-2 cloves of fresh garlic (optional)
  • 1/2-3/4 cups of olive oil (start with 1/2, then add a 1/4 cup more if needed)

 

Directions:

1.) Blend all ingredients in the food processor.

2.) Pour into a mason jar and label it.

3.) Add you your favorite dishes!
